Last few months...

So, I've decided to try to keep up on my blog. Not so much for me ... but for our buddy Dallon. I feel these days that I am becoming more and more obsessed with him and no one really cares to hear about our little guy, so i feel like i can obsess over him via internet. I can say anything I want and just throw it out in the internet world. And the great thing about blogging, that i just learned, I can print off all these posts in a nice little book. I want to remember all the silly little things that I love about my boy right now that I know i will forget and replace with other amazing new things that my little guy will learn. I want to remember how he smiled on purpose for the first time. And his first giggle. And the first blow out that i got to clean. And how Keegan and I are an amazing match for parenting our beautiful son.

So, having said that... I really want to update on a more regular basis. If you don't care to hear me brag about how awesome my kid is, then you don't have to read :) I've been a mom to Dallon Rhen Drawe for almost 4 months. There are so many things that are starting to get so exciting with him! About 2 weeks ago, i felt like Dallon was ready for big boy food. He has been eating crazy amounts of formula. He should be between 4-6 ounces every 4 hours. Dallon has been chugging almost 8 ounces every 4 hours with the once a day 12 ounces. So, formula is expensive! I never really got my milk in, so after 2 months of trying everything to increase my milk supply, I gave up and just put him on only formula. It has been an expensive last 2 months! So, when i see that he is eating as much as he does, the $1.25 rice cereal looks pretty appealing! He actually enjoyed it the first few times, but i feel like it needs to be the right time of day and the right amount of cereal. But it sure was cute his first feeding!! I also love LOVE love his cuddles! Keegan and I can just hang out with him on the couch for hours with his smiles, cuddles, noises, naps, giggles and watching him try to suck on anything in sight! He loves watching the MMA fights with Keegan and loves watching stupid movies with commercials with mom. I may need to start reading more books with him so we don't create too much of a couch potato! Also, this kid could sleep through anything and everything! Even diaper changes! It's so great!! He's discovered how comfortable his side is also! He goes to his side every time he remembers that he can maneuver his body that way! He's been sleeping all through the night for probably 2 months now (but has always had amazing sleep habits only waking up once in the night to eat and fall right back asleep) He is now sleeping around 10 hours every night! Right now we keep him up with us until we are ready for bed till around midnight (though he usually naps around 9-11 or so) But last night we put him to bed at 12 and this morning he woke up at 11:00 with huge smiles!! It melts my heart and I absolutely love my mornings with him!! A few nights ago we went out to eat at Cocolitos and heard our boy laugh for the FIRST TIME! It's actually more of a squeak... but it's the cutest sound i've ever heard!! It took us a few days to get him to do it again, but it happened again yesterday, last night and again today... TWICE!!! We try so hard to get it on video but the second he sees the camera, he usually backs off! But here is the cutest noise EVER!!...

Okay... Here is the last bunch of a few of our outings and even just some fun photoshoots by Keegan and a few from our kinda sister in law Dana Tibbitts :) Also, Dallon is such a trooper with our little outtings and he just hangs out and enjoys the view! And I LOVE IT!! So, right now I'm on cloud 9 with this little guy! So is Keegan! When Keegan gets home from a long day of school and work, he can not be home for 30 minutes without wanting to grab Dallon from me. It's so amazing how Keegan has just completely soaked up every moment he can with our little buddy! I know that Dallon and I are so incredibly lucky to have Keegan in our lives playing the role that he does! I could not have written out a better man for either of us. Keegan, I love you so much! Thank you for your patience with me as a new mom, wife and friend. I'll always be your girl...
